Waterlogue: Photo to Painting App Reviews

This is a great and wonderfully inspiring App. It is motivational. When needing inspiration for photos that I have taken, it gives me a boost. It is by far the best app Ive ever had.

This app gives a window into the creative skills needed for painting water colors pieces. Fascinating and fun!!

I dont know why someone would troll this app. If you take good photos that are composed well and use this tool you will have stunning results. I hope they have an OS X version soon.

This app reminds me of thin brushes and watercolors, trying to paint something—anything—reasonably recognizable. Waterlogue makes that happen for me. Love this app.

Ive always loved watercolors and watching talented artists create them. There is an element of magic involved. Now anybody that a can take a reasonably well composed photo can turn it into a watercolor masterpiece. Nicely done!

This is an awesome app. As a photographer, I love seeing how my photos would look as watercolor paintings. And this app does just that. It allows me make my own artwork with my own photos :)

This is really fun to play with. Thanks! The only thing I would suggest is a stop action button to offer the option of a less complete look.

The absolute best watercolor app Ive ever used. More realistic than the watercolor filter in Photoshop. Quick and easy

The app doesnt have a good algorithm that creates nearly genuine watercolor images from photos. I would really like my money back.

Im always looking for fun photo apps, and boy is this one fun! I even used it on a picture I took at a resort in Cabo to have it made into a "canvas" that I sent as a thank you gift. I love what this app does to certain formats (details can get lost, but watercolor paintings are more about the essence rather than fine lines). In a word ... get this app and have some fun!

I read a dozen or more reviews before purchasing this app. Did I get the same thing? I have tried it with streetscapes, florals and vacation photos with equally disappointing results. I have tried all the filters with equally disappointing results. What I have gotten was one blurry mess after another. The absence of detail makes some of these images unrecognizable, not "painterly." Refund please.

Excellent artsy photo to watercolor product

I watercolor and I lov this app. You can not copy it for your watercolors thats not proper in the watercolor world however it sure does give you a lot of good ideas

A fitting title. The app pitch is deceiving as it shows examples of watercolors photos that possess much more detail than you can actually creat with this app...even with fine shots taken with a 12 MP camera. For the most part you get a mess. The controls are simple and do Not give the customer the ability to generate a good watercolor rendition. I recommend it just for fun but not for artists needing an example to help reinsure an art piece. This needs a Lot of work

This app is awesome for design, works perfectly and is easy to use. It is definitely worth the money. I love it!!!!

The new detailed effects make this app more usable by far. Ive received compliments on Flickr and have been asked what app I used.
